Obama’s New Stimulus Program: Family Planning and Nancy Pelosi

Obama’s stimulus package is going through Congress and being debated. It’s been both praised and criticized. Though some rave about the brilliance of it, others question why it has hundreds of millions of dollars for family planning services tacked onto it.

I try to keep my opinions about politicians to myself. If someone does or says something I don’t agree with I’ll point that out. But, as far as the politicians themselves, I try to keep those opinions quiet. I’m sorry, I just can’t today. Nancy Pelosi is a huge idiot. When she first became Speaker of the House I was excited, “Yeah, we finally have a woman is such a prestigious position!” Unfortunately, she started being interviewed and everything she thinks or says just sounds dumb. If only they hadn’t let her talk, that’s where the problem started, with her talking.
So, apparently we are to produce fewer children to make our country and government stronger? One problem: since we can’t afford the billions of dollars this bailout requires, we are going to go into an even deeper debt. If the government thinks the solution is to produce less, or no children, who will be paying for this debt in 20 years? Will we even have a workforce then to pay it off?
And, when did it happen that if a person has a baby they are automatically a burden to the state? It is possible that many members of society do not use state or federal aid, and thus, their children are not burdening society. Furthermore, babies create money for the economy. It is not cheap to raise a child. They require diapers, food, clothes, entertainment, toys, money for school fundraisers and activities, doctors’ appointments, and thousands and thousands of dollars to be spent on them before they are grown. Wipe out the babies, you wipe out those industries, and further crash the economy. But, a Democrat Congress has proven to stand behind and support abortion as a God given “right”. Thus, they tack on millions of dollars for their industry. We, as taxpayers, are supposed to happily shut up and think this is a good idea.
Maybe kids are not the problem, but maybe we have come to rely too deeply on the government to fix our own problems. Maybe government has grown too far, and has boosted themselves up to handle things the American people should be handling on their own. So, before we continue with the extinction of babies (which the Bible says are a gift from God, not a burden) maybe we should see what cuts need to be made to make our government function the way it was intended, but no more than that. I vote to start by getting intelligence into Pelosi’s position.

Pelosi makes it sounds like ALL middle class (and below) families are just mindlessly rutting, churning out babies left and right, not caring about how to pay for them, and leeching from every social program they can qualify for.
How can a person who is clueless to the price of gas and who makes up Bible passages be in such a position to know what the middle class is like. Most of us are doing the best with what we have and NOT asking for a handout from the government.
