‘Twas the Very First Christmas: The Night Before Christmas Parody

This is a poem, or parody, I wrote for Christmas. It should, if I did it correctly, mimic the style and pace of the Christmas classic “The Night before Christmas.” Marc was good enough to do some wonderful illustrations to accompany it (I’m pretty proud of them). We hope you enjoy it.

‘Twas the very first Christmas,
When they wished to sleep in a house.

But, they stayed in a stable,
full of livestock and a mouse.
