Radical Gay Anarchists and Their Victims
By Marc | November 13, 2008
This last weekend, members of a pro-homosexual anarchist group called Bash Back! stormed a Lansing, Michigan church during Sunday morning services.
Reports say that protesters were outside the church beating on buckets and using megaphones to shout “Jesus is a homo” as church-goers went in for morning services. According to those reports, half of the protesting group was dressed to blend in with the church-goers and entered the church.
Once inside they reportedly pulled fire alarms, handed out pamphlets and yelled at parishioners. They also were said to have stormed the pulpit and held up a large rainbow colored flag that read “It’s Okay To Be Gay! Bash Back”.
You know, obviously this group is angry. But really, what did they seek to accomplish from this stunt other than publicity? What I see from this is only retaliation to gay-bashing and “oppression” in the wrong way. Is chaos a viable remedy for anything?
This is a quote from the group’s website:
Let it be known: So long as bigots kill us in the streets, this pack of wolves will continue to BASH BACK!
It seems by this they are far more angry about the random drunks and punks who kill gays, but they can’t really do anything about that, can they? It’s far more in their ability to attack a peaceful worship service than take their revenge on the specific gay-bashers. I can understand being frustrated with something you have no control over, and it’s infuriating when you have pent-up rage and the focus of that rage is anonymous.
But, come on, people! Pulling fire alarms, screaming at people, making out in front of the pastor, then running away. Do they want to be taken seriously, or do they want to act like underage kids drunk at a bar?
I’d guess most of the people in that service (who went just to go to church) had nothing to do with hurting them personally, but they were an easy target. Wouldn’t it be more beneficial to find a peaceful way to get the point across than do something to fuel division?
But, hate-filled radical gay anarchists, I still love you. I don’t like your actions, your sins, or your anger (just like I don’t like all of my actions, my sins, and my anger), but you are still created by God.

Some crazy ads you get from Google when you write about this stuff. I’m sure there’s some irony there, but then again maybe not.

Yeah, it’s kind of a double-edged sword. Since it pulls keywords from our posts, it tries to give relevant links. Unfortunately, there’s no way to control it. You can reject some keywords or products with Amazon ads, but it’s too much of a hassle to do so because you could possibly alienate some things if they’re relevant.
Anyway, I find it kind of funny and ironic that we’re getting atheist and pro-gay Google links as well as Amazon links for Dawkins occasionally. I don’t understand the “2 Rules for Stomach Fat” one, though.
