A Few Jigsaw Puzzles for You

By Julie | September 9, 2008

JulieMy sister always sends us, my family, tons of e-cards on our birthdays. It’s kind of fun because you never know what you’re going to get. I’ve received some funny cards, some sentimental, a song, and a few jigsaw puzzles to challenge my brain. My son loved the puzzles so much, he’s been asking non-stop ever since if he can do some. Today I thought I’d share some with you…

The first one is my favorite painting (second to Marc’s, of course) “The Scream” by Edvard Munch, the Norwegian artist. (click on the picture)

As you finish the puzzle, the screen below it will display “Your time”, “fastest”, and “average”. I never make the fastest time, but usually I’m close to the average. (Except for one puzzle with really funny shapes, my time was dismal!)  Let us know how you do. Also, on the side you can select “change cut”. A screen will pop. It gives you a huge variety, you can choose the number of pieces number of pieces in each puzzle, and the shape. Some of the shapes make it pretty hard. But it’s fun to add to the challenge.

The second puzzle is “The Creation of Adam”, featured on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, painted by Michelangelo. Again, change around the pieces if you want. Have fun!
