A while ago I posted some of my wedgehead stuff. Well, here’s some more ink drawings. Most of them are designs available now in the store and they have also been in my photo album on MySpace, but I haven’t showcased them here.
This is another one on the wedgehead theme. I call it “falling apart”:

I started getting into more simple lines and into more of a classic comic book style.
I’m really quite tired of the busom-y Barbie doll characters in many comic books.
This last one is my first real finished brush inked piece. Most of the previous stuff is inked with Sharpie marker, with the exception of the comic and a few other projects (which are done with Corel Painter). But everything is colored digitally. I still have yet to add a little shading and it’s going to have some action lines and maybe the word “OBJECTION!” really big.
Sometime soon, I’d like to try doing a tutorial (maybe video) on the whole wedgehead thing (like the top drawing). I don’t pay attention to anotomy, proportion, or sometimes even physically possible poses. Because of this, I think it may lend itself well to allow people who don’t have much training in drawing (or don’t think they have talent) to be able to create something interesting.
We’ll see what happens.
