Not Much Today

Sorry. I’ve got a lot on my mind, lots to do, and can’t really focus enough to write about something.

Alliance Nebraska: Carhenge — An Eyesore or Inspiration?

Monday, September 29th, 2008

For a lot of the last twenty years, I had heard of Carhenge but had never seen it except in photographs. Most people I talked to made it seem like one of the cheesiest things on earth. The impression I got was it was like so many roadside attractions built by people trying to drum [...]

Forgiveness and Mercy or Hold On to the Bitterness?

Friday, September 26th, 2008

The Lord says:
“These people come near to me with their mouth
and honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
Their worship of me
is made up only of rules taught by men.” - Isaiah 29:13
You know that old adage: Forgive and forget? A lot of times it’s not that easy and seems downright almost [...]

Humanity is eternally seeking answers to theological and philosophical questions, and if anyone knows the answers, it’s our celebrities. For [...]

Hey, Nebraskans, Being a Parent is Evidently Reversible!

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

No, I’m not talking about abortion. I’m referring to the recent Nebraska safe haven law (LB157), which states:
“No person shall be prosecuted for any crime based solely upon the act of leaving a child in the custody of an employee on duty at a hospital licensed by the State of Nebraska. The hospital shall promptly [...]

Painting a Masterpiece and Family Through Videos

Friday, September 19th, 2008

We try to avoid posting too many videos here. We really do. We try to have our posts be relevant to God, to us, something we have created in writing, or in Marc’s case, in his art. But we do love our Godtube and youtube. Sometimes we see something that is just too good to [...]

One of a Hundred - page 111 - Telling Off Mom

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

Time for Thursday! Time for Comic! On this page I was playing around with real world brushwork for the inking instead of digitally or marker (like the Job portion of the story). You can read the whole series, as well as see a larger version of the current page by clicking on the picture below.
