And it came to pass…

When I was in high school my mom took my sister, my three younger brothers, and me on a two hour drive. We ended up in some relatively small town, because every town near us was a relatively small town. We spent the next hour or two laughing, deep from our guts ’til they hurt. My younger brothers had a habit of acting put out with family things, and always appeared they weren’t enjoying themselves, even though we all knew they were. That night they didn’t even pretend to be annoyed, we all had a great time. My mom had taken us to a Mark Lowry concert / stand up routine. It was incredible that with our age span of more then 30 years his comedy was so timeless we were all able to relate and appreciate his humor.
Today, Marc found the following video online, a Mark Lowry video. If you don’t know who he is, take a look. His enthusiam is intense, and even while I laugh, I nod in recognition to him. And remember, no matter where you are, “And it came to pass”. Especially remember if this period of your life has been really difficult.
