What has He done for you?

What has He done for you?
Calling all Christians. We need help getting the word out. A growing number of people doubt God is real, and at work in our world, our countries, or our lives.
I recently subscribed to “Google Alerts”. Here’s how it works: I subscribed to the keyword “Christianity” in Google alerts. Once a day I receive a list of sites that used the word Christianity that day. I am a Christian. I love my God. I wanted to know what’s happening in the Christian world. Searches for the word “Christianity” reveal an atheism I never knew existed. I get so many listings for atheist’s sites, I wonder if atheists talk about Christians more then we talk about ourselves.
Until Google alerts I believed Christians and atheists existed harmoniously respecting one another’s views. Maybe, we can, and sometimes do. But, the articles and blogs I receive show a cruel side of atheism, one hoping Christians cease to exist. They believe they’re accomplishing this goal. Will we, as Christians, let them?
Articles blame Christians for nearly every war and act of violence in this world. One man attributed Hitler and Stalin to us. Hitler because he lived in a Catholic state and did not denounce it. And, Stalin because he’d been exposed to Christianity. Theses atheists clearly prove you can be exposed to Christianity and still not be Christians. Hitler and Stalin were not ours!
A comment by a poster to a video on Godtube.com addressed the audience there, “Hello, would-be murders.” Basically, he addressed anyone who claims to be Christian as “would-be murders.” Nice, huh?
One article was titled “Orthodox, Traditional Christianity Has Already Lost.” It can be found here, http://atheism.about.com/b/a/259085.htm The article quotes heads of a church saying God is not present in our daily lives. Here’s one quote, “many secular atheists would like to see irrational religious theism disappear”. Because my views are different than theirs they think I’m irrational. They’d like me, and you, if you’re a Christian, to disappear. How do they intend to do this? Here’s another quote…
‘Atheists’ logical and scientific arguments against religion and theism will have a little impact; broader secularization of society will have a much deeper and longer-lasting impact. This means that the most important political issues for atheists will revolve around defending and expanding church/state separation, scientific education, and secular institutions. In the long run, this will undermine the power and influence of religion far more than any books, interviews, or debates.’
Yes, Atheists intend to regulate the world to the point Christians, and Christianity has no place in it. Why, if the majority of Americans are Christians are we letting them? Do you believe you’re irrational, and stupid, for believing? Why allow atheists, who plan to rid the world of a faith our government was set up to protect, to succeed?
The first comment to this article states,” In order to fix a problem you have to understand the problem. If you want to get rid of that problem you have to “strike at the root”. If you don’t pull a weed up from its root what happens? It grows back.”
As this poster stated, I am a problem, and my children are a weed. A weed they intend to yank from me for the sole purpose of leading them to a Christ-less life. What happens to a plant when you pull it from its root? It dies. One day, I have to answer to God about how I raised my children. If they are nothing but dead weeds left to a world who denies God, how will I respond? I don’t want my kids to become another dead soul, muddling through life, angry at the world. We have enough soulless people now.
When Christian children are referred to as weeds, and it’s said, “many secular atheists would like to see irrational religious theism disappear”, there is a problem. A big problem! God is alive in us. As Christians it is our duty to show Him to the world, through our deeds of love, not violence. Why is Christian America allowing a group of people who do not share our ideology to pound their views into our children, hoping to remove God from the world, while leaving innocent kids nothing more then dying weeds? Why do they write about us having lukewarm faith? Is it true?
What is the strongest weapon in our world? It’s prayer, the one thing capable of stopping them, if we ask. We HAVE to pray. Pour your prayers out into this world, over our schools, our children, our lives. And love all. Love the atheists who want to kill our faith. We have to love, even them. Something is making them really angry; maybe love is the only way they’ll be reached. Pour prayers over them, pray their plans will be thwarted, pray they’ll be saved. I feel sorry for them. Where do they vent their accusations? The internet? Fellow atheists? Rants at Christians? We’re not so limited; we have God, and prayer! Let’s use it. Pray!
What has He done for you? How much do you love Him? Tell us, tell your friends. Let the world see. Pray they’ll hear with open ears. If atheists are going to complain about our testimonies when they think we’re being quiet, then let’s start making some noise.
So here is our challenge:
We would like to host an ongoing list of the impact Jesus has had in the lives of people all over this world. We can’t do it without your help. So, share, tell us, post your testimonies here, in the Bugskippy.com forums. Please tell us how real your faith is. Tell us what God has personally done in your life. Let the world see, and know, He is real, He is here, He is at work in us and the world. He is not going away, and we’re not leaving either!
Thank you. And God bless!
